Testimonials

From client Jackie Mayer

Being a parent of a young adult living with special needs has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and yet it can be very lonely at times.  Every day is a struggle to help him navigate in a world that views individuals with disabilities as burdens on society rather than human beings that are fully capable of loving and having purpose in their lives. The pain can be unbearable at times when we see others looking at our children with eyes of disgust rather than eyes of compassion and understanding. Yet, the struggle can become a beautiful one when special people come into our lives to remind us of the beauty within it.

One of those special people in my life has been Amanda. She has this amazing gift of joining you, where you are at in life, with empathy rather than judgement and she sees the beauty in our everyday moments and captures them! Moments that we might not think are beautiful because many times we can only see the struggle.  She can see our lives in a different lens from what we can see it times. She captures unconditional love, strength, joy, and hope. Very few people have this gift! The moments she's captured of my son and I have become my daily reminders that I'm not walking this life alone and that even though raising a son with a disability can be a struggle, it can also be a beautiful one..

From client Stephanie Jaeger. Amanda has been taking pictures of my son since he was born.  Not only does she take beautiful pictures, but she has a huge amount of patience!  Taking pictures of babies and toddlers is hard but she is able to capture amazing photos that my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime.
